While working in the mold group, I studied and knew planers, milling machines, lathes, large surface grinders, tool grinders, drill grinders, milling cutters, turning tools, grinding wheels, etc., and also grinded and processed some special R-angles, etc., repairing molds with colleagues and developing new molds. Because I am still an apprentice and do not know how to do design, so the research and development is mainly based on classmates. At that time, there was no computer-aided design drawing, etc., which was completely drawn by a T-square, compass, pencil, and then a blueprint.

Two years later, the company invested and set up a factory in Shanghai, and I was transferred to Shanghai to work. After nearly three years of basic work, ordinary single-process molds, molding molds can basically be independently handled. A computer is eight or nine thousand to tens of thousands (not the current eight or nine thousand oh), reluctant to buy, fortunately in that place in Shanghai, there is already a rental computer business, deposit 8k, rent 300 yuan a month, think about not being able to buy it can only be rented, then think will play computer especially tall. From learning the five-stroke input method to cad drawing, I could not understand English. I went to Shanghai Bookstore to buy books by myself. It took me almost half a year to master the drawing ability from CAD drawing straight lines to typing commands.

During the one year of learning to operate the machine, I learned to use Mastercam with my master and was able to do some simple programming. This year has been very fulfilling and hard working.

I thought it would be like this forever, but the result was too many molds and the delivery time was tight. The mold manager asked me to help draw the mold. I really wanted to have such an opportunity before, but in fact, I couldn't get into the design team. Now the opportunity is rare, plus it is the first time to use computer graphics, completely using their own designed drawings for others to process, nervous, worried about mistakes. I still remember that the Taiwanese people were tired of me asking, so I began my design career.
